This Wednesday Congress approved the Higher Minimum Act which will raise the minimum wage to $15. Just a short four hundred eighty-four years from now, Americans will see the fruits of their labor on their pay stubs! This legislation follows a similar California law that just passed, enacting a statewide wage raise from $10 to $15 by year 2022.

The momentous act will start in 2017 as states will begin to raise the current $7.25 minimum wage by a small fraction each year. By 2200 the base pay in the United States will reach its goal of $15 at which time Americans can rejoice! Reports have already mentioned some people have begun taking out loans specifically to fund advancement studies specializing in human droids. This way, at least some form of themselves can be around to reap the benefits. Other people have stated that they will make sure their children’s children remain citizens so that they can take advantage of the law as well.
